Quan Cong (onyomi: Zen Sō) was a general of the Kingdom of Wu. He participated in the battles against Wei and defeated Xue Qiao at Shiting. His son Quan Yi, along with many other family members, would later defect to Wei during Zhuge Dan's Rebellion. He was married to Sun Quan's daughter Sun Luban.
Earlier Dynasty Warriors games incorrectly localized his name to Quan Zong, but this error has been corrected.
Roles in Games
Within the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, Quan Cong is found serving Wu in most scenarios where Sun Quan is the ruler. His stats across the board are above average, falling within the 70's range with politics being his lowest stat around the 60's range.
For the fourteenth title, Quan Cong is noteworthy for possessing several character traits that are beneficial to the domestic output of a city such as increasing the amount of land automatically conquered per turn within an area (Famous), preventing the appearance of bandits (Encouraging) and increasing gold income (Wealthy). For battle, his unit is able to command 1000 more troops (Mobilizer) and will take less damage from traps (Prudent). These factors along with his balanced stats and diverse command of formations including access to Awl and Catapult make Quan Cong a very versatile character be it on or off the battlefield. His administrative policy increases the morale limits for cities and units (Reorganize Military Lv 03).
