The Loophole of Time (時空の狭間, Jikuu no Hazama or Toki no Hazama) is the name for a mystical place featured throughout the Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series. It serves as the necessary link between the modern world (the protagonist's home) and the parallel world (the world created by the dragon gods). Though admittedly rare, natural entryways to this dimension can occur within either world.
The lifeless space serves as a dimension where things do not decay or age, a never-ending emptiness. Deities can rest there to disconnect from both worlds while staying the same. When necessary, they can choose to enter either world whenever they want. This instant transfer is like time travel. As long as the god knows what they want to achieve, they can move between the worlds freely. The portal to the lifeless space can be opened or closed by any ruling deity from the parallel world, but time travel is often linked to the White Dragon.
People can use the passageway of time in the same manner as deities. However, if they become disoriented and lose their intended destination, they may find themselves transported to an entirely different era or trapped in a desolate void indefinitely. Time travelers possess the ability to recall the various timelines they have experienced, enabling them to alter the past in order to impact the future. The erased timelines are known solely to those who traverse through time, and these divergent outcomes typically bear no connection to one another.
Despite earlier titles stating that nothing resided within this pocket dimension, a reigning deity for the area does exist.
