Han Zhong (Yellow Turbans)

Han Zhong (onyomi: Kan Chuu) is an officer for the Yellow Turbans. He led a force accompanied by Sun Zhong and Zhao Hong to capture Wan Castle, but lost control of the castle to Liu Bei and Zhu Jun. It was stated that he died from an arrow wound at Wan Castle, but according to records, he took over leadership of Wan Castle after Zhao Hong was killed by Zhu Jun who quickly routed Han Zhong after refusing to surrender. He was later killed by Qin Xie of Nanyang Province.

Role in Games

Han Zhong has been present in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series since the fifth title with his stats for war and leadership being his best qualities despite both stats being average at best while his other stats are within the dismal 10s range. His character traits in the fourteenth title are both negative as public order within any region he is present on will reduce each turn (Bandit) and his own unit's morale will suffer an increased penalty when an ally unit in range is defeated (Downcast).
