Douglas Rye is an American voice actor and narrator based in Los Angeles. After building up his own acting skills in school, he decided to involve himself in numerous musical acts working as a crew member, stage hand, or even a performer. Some of the bands he worked for include "The Rolling Stones", "Pink Floyd", and "The Commodores". He left the music scene at some point and managed to land various acting roles before finding his niche in voice acting.
Rye is mostly known for voicing smooth-talking characters with deep vocal tones. Among his roles are Mr. Gentleman from Read or Die, Silver Knight from the .hack series, and Dracula from several Castlevania titles.
