Douglas Lee is an American voice actor and narrator. Born to a father who worked as an architect and a mother famous for acting, Lee had lived in Europe for a time before moving back to the United States in Denver, Colorado. Upon graduating from high school, he returned to California. He discovered his passion for broadcasting and later found work as a radio jockey.
The years Lee spent being on the air made him realize that drama was his true calling. After taking several acting courses and finding a suitable agent, he gradually made a name for himself in the field of voice acting.
Lee's gruff yet suave voice makes him ideal for older male roles and narration work. He has lent his performances to characters such as Fad in Cowboy Bebop, Rubicante in the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV, and Gouken in Street Fighter IV.
