Akemi Sato is a Japanese voice actor. After participating in a Seiyuu Granprix audition contest, Sato was admitted into Aoni Jyuku (Aoni Production's educational program) in Tokyo. Since then, she has been affiliated with the same voice acting agency.
During her free time, Sato likes to travel alone to places. She owns and loves a cat named Gin Shari, sometimes taking her pet with her in her travel bag.
Best known for being the second voice of Shiori Misaka in Kanon, her other roles include Tabatha in Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon and Kanako Fujishima in Electromagnetic Girlfriend.
